E-tour?

Earlier this month an article was released about Republican candidate Jeb Bush and the release of his book which , in short , could be called an "e-tour". The article mentions how the e-book "reveals a more personal side to a candidate who has struggled on the public stage."

It seems like Jeb 2.0 is taking media in politics to a whole new level, and intends to use this media method to advance his progress as candidate. While some of you may be republican and some may be democrat, all differences aside, how do you think the use of an e-tour will help or hurt the course of a campaign?

Here is the link to the article with more in depth details:

  1. Wow, I guess I had never really thought of an e-tour as a way for politicians to gain votes. I read the article you posted below and it seems like this book could gain Bush some new supporters. In terms of an e-tour though, I am not really sure how much it would help a candidate. Most of the public is used to the typical campaign process and trying to start a new one right now just doesn't seem like it would do much. That being said, I love the fact that Bush broke out of the typical campaign process and has tried something new. This sets the stage for other candidates to try and do the same. Nice post!
