Who Will Be There To Help Us?

Late last week John Kasich made a pretty darn good statement about how we should take into consideration what would happen if Trump becomes president.

While I'm sure I have made it known that I do not like Trump as a candidate or even as a person, I cannot stress enough how moronic this man is and how absurd it would be for America to elect him as a leader of her people. In this article, Kasich makes the point that Trump says things that stir emotions in people, but only in the people that his statements affect and are directed toward. Kasich says:

"You might not care if Donald Trump says Muslims should register with their government, because you're not one," says Moe, to an ominous soundtrack. "And you might not care if Donald Trump says he's going to round up all the Hispanic immigrants, because you're not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump says it's okay to rough up black protesters, because you're not one. And you might not care if Donald Trump wants to suppress journalists, because you're not one. But think about this: If he keeps going, and he actually becomes president, he might just get around to you. And you better hope there's someone left to help you."

So what do you think? Are you as affected by Trump's statements of stupidity even if you do not fall into a category applicable to you? Or do you brush off his statements and laugh at the fact he is even running for office? Just as John Kasich said in this article, if Trump keeps running his mouth about those who are not you, what is your plan for when something he says starts to hit home?

E-tour?

Earlier this month an article was released about Republican candidate Jeb Bush and the release of his book which , in short , could be called an "e-tour". The article mentions how the e-book "reveals a more personal side to a candidate who has struggled on the public stage."

It seems like Jeb 2.0 is taking media in politics to a whole new level, and intends to use this media method to advance his progress as candidate. While some of you may be republican and some may be democrat, all differences aside, how do you think the use of an e-tour will help or hurt the course of a campaign?

Climate Change.... Bigger Than We Think

It is nothing new to us to hear something said about global warming and the issue of climate change. But do we really take to heart all of the information we receive on the subject?

In today's world it is an ever growing and always pressing issue about our current environmental situations and how they are steadily declining in quality, yet we don't always do our part to "go green" and help sustain the earth for future generations. While I don't necessarily view myself as a "hippie" or flower child or any other term that is applied by those who don't understand the significance of the matter, I do see myself as an activist in my own home and homes of those I am close with.

Joe Biden says that climate change is "the most consequential issue of our time". He is absolutely right because if we don't take care of the earth now, in our time, it won't survive long enough to support those who will be here after us. If anyone makes it that far.

So tell me what you think about global warming. Do you believe it is all a hoax and nothing to worry about? Or is it the most consequential issue of our time and deserves our attention and action taken by those in office in order to make our world a better place?

Time to enforce gun control laws?

If you haven't heard or read anything about the recent campus shooting in Oregon, then I suggest you lift up the rock you're living under and acknowledge the severity of the growing issue with gun control.

It seems as though each time I turn on the news I get to see some heartbreaking tragedy where numerous lives were lost, impacted, or both, due to an event where a shooting took place. These happenings should SCARE people, not motivate people to be the next person who strives for some claim to fame by killing others. When students and individuals of all ages alike begin to feel scared just to go to places they feel safe such as school, church, or even the grocery store, that's when you know we have a problem.

In the article below, candidate Ben Carson address the issue of gun control and posted an image of him holding a sign saying "I am a Christian" which went viral the same day. His stance on the issue of gun rights and regulations is one that I am sure most of us can agree with.

Do you agree that individuals should be allowed to carry their own concealed weapons either for their own protection or the protection of others when/if these situations continue to arise? Or do you disagree and feel like allowing more people to carry weapons will only result in more unnecessary shootings and bloodshed?

Just A Month Away From The Next Debate, Who Will We See?

As the debates keep raging and the candidates keep sweating, the tensions also keep rising. It seems as though the Republican National Committee is slipping up a bit when it comes to information about who will be seen at the next debate, as well as choking back fear that the campaigns are being designed to reduce the number of candidates. Take a look at the article from Politico.

Would love to know what brand of hair products Donald Trump uses to make his hair stay so suave. Could really use some style advice with all this humidity going on.
